Several views of Boston's Back Bay taken from the Cambridge side of the Longfellow Bridge. Two of the shots feature the John Hancock Tower, the tallest building in New England.
Speaking of the Hancock Tower, here are two more views of it.
A few of Boston's more striking statues. From left to right we have Benjamin Franklin (in front of the old city hall and very near the site of the first public school in the colonies), next is that great American rabble-rouser Samuel Adams (in front of Faneuil Hall Marketplace), and last but not least a mounted George Washington (near the West entrance to the Public Garden).
A few of Boston's tourist attractions. The first is the "Boston Stone". Legend has it that this stone marked the exact center of the city (as did the famous "London Stone" it was modeled on). The truth is simpler: it was placed in front of a tavern to drum up business. The second theme features the famous Public Garden swans (Castor and Pollux to be specific). The last is the home of the Boston Pops, the Hatch Shell bandstand.
A couple of nautically minded themes: one of the many sailboats that populate the Charles River basin and Old Ironsides herself, the U.S.S. Constitution.
Now for a herd of Boston's more well-known buildings. From the top we have the Bunker Hill Monument (located on Breed's Hill just as the battle was), the Custom House Tower, the Park Street Church, Fanueil Hall (as seen from the roofdeck of the Custom house Tower), the dome of the New Statehouse ("New" because at over 200 years old it's still younger than the still standing Old Statehouse), and the Old South Meeting House.
Finally, we have two themes featuring the steeple of the Old North Church. Although famous as the steeple from which Paul Revere's lanterns flashed out, this is also the oldest church in Boston having been built in 1723.
