Official Resources

• Standard ECMA-262: The official specification of the JavaScript language from ECMA International.
• Microsoft's JScript Documentation: We find Microsoft's online references to be some of the best available and this one is no exception. Completely cross-referenced and well presented it's our reference of choice.
• JavaScript Central at Netscape DevEdge: Very complete references for all recent versions of JavaScript in multiple formats. The presentation is simpler than the Microsoft site and much more suited to offline use.

Discussions

• comp.lang.javascript: The premier Usenet resource for JavaScript coders. Use your News Reader or Google Groups.
• microsoft.public.scripting.jscript: Dedicated to JScript, Microsoft's implementation of JavaScript. Use your News Reader or Google Groups.

General Resources

• JavaScript.com: A huge warehouse of scripts and snippets ripe for the plucking. Visit here before you write it yourself.
• PengoWorks: Authors of some of the most useful and advanced JavaScript libraries around. Thier qForms API alone has saved thousands of developers thousands upon thousands of hours.
• HotSyte: A great resource from the author of O'Reilly's "The JavaScript Application Cookbook".
• WebReference JavaScript Articles: Lots of great information for the serious JavaScript Developer.
• Danny Goodman: The home page of one of the premier JavaScript authors.
• JavaScript Kit: Articles, scripts, tutorials and other material with a focus on DHTML.
